OUR PROJECT
The Best Dives Maldives team has teamed up with Fushifaru staff to implement the coral regeneration project at Fushifaru Maldives. The vision is to create a coral garden to assist in the recovery of the house reef and an underwater playground where guests can enjoy snorkelling or a dive excursion.
The growth and development of the artificial reef have been encouraging. Slowly, different marine species are coming back to the reef. It will take many years to see corals grow into mature colonies. That is why continuous monitoring is necessary to reduce the risk of any damage.
